LopeBase vs UptimeRobot
UptimeRobot is a dedicated monitoring service: many kinds of monitor, checks as often as every 15 seconds on its top plan, and alerts by email, SMS, voice call, and chat apps. LopeBase checks uptime as one part of an ops console for several SaaS products, every 15 minutes, next to each product's revenue, traffic, errors, and SEO. Which one you want depends on how fast you need to know, and what you want to see beside the answer.

How the checks differ
The biggest gap is speed. UptimeRobot's free plan checks every 5 minutes, and its paid plans go to 60, 30, and 15 seconds. LopeBase checks every 15 minutes. If a site goes down a minute after a check, LopeBase can take up to 15 minutes to notice. For a product where minutes of downtime cost real money, that is too slow, and a faster monitor is the right tool.
The second gap is range. UptimeRobot lists monitors for ports, ping, DNS, UDP, keywords on a page, SSL certificates, domain expiry, and heartbeats that expect a cron job to check in. LopeBase does one kind of check: it requests a public web address, waits up to 10 seconds, and records the status code and response time. An answer slower than 3 seconds is recorded as slow, and still counts as up. There is no SSL expiry warning and no heartbeat monitor.
Where LopeBase goes further is what a single check can prove. If your app runs the LopeBase Adapter, you point the check at its health address and list the services the app needs, like the database, a queue, or a payment provider. Each one is checked with the app's own credentials, with a cheap call like select 1 or a Stripe balance read. That shows your integration works, not just that a vendor's servers answer. Each service shows as its own row on the Uptime page and on the status page, and a service you mark non-critical shows the product as degraded instead of down.
UptimeRobot can check a health endpoint too, if you build one. The difference is that the LopeBase Adapter gives you the endpoint, the format, and the per-service rows already wired up.
How the pricing compares
UptimeRobot's pricing page, checked October 2026, lists a Free plan with 50 monitors on 5 minute checks and one basic status page, which it describes as good for hobby and non-profit projects. Solo is $13 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly, for 10 monitors (with an option for 50) on 60 second checks. Team is $46 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 100 monitors on 30 second checks and 3 login seats. Scale is $98 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for 200 or 500 monitors on 15 second checks. SMS and voice credits come with paid plans and can be bought separately.
UptimeRobot counts monitors. That suits monitoring: each thing you watch is one monitor, and a product with a site, an API, and a cron job uses three.
LopeBase counts products. Free for one product. Studio is $29 a month for 3 products, Portfolio $99 for 10, and Agency $299 with no limit. Uptime checks, the status page, and everything else LopeBase does come with each product. If all you want is fast uptime checks, UptimeRobot's paid plans cost less. If you also want each product's revenue, traffic, and SEO in the same place, LopeBase covers that for the same price.

Which one to pick
Pick UptimeRobot if
You need to know within a minute, you watch ports, DNS, certificates, or cron jobs, or you want a phone call at 3am when something breaks.
Pick LopeBase if
You run several SaaS products and want each one's uptime beside its revenue, traffic, and errors, with a free status page and a review that says what went wrong.
Start freeRunning both, or moving over
A common setup is a fast monitor for paging and LopeBase for the daily view. There is nothing to wire between them: LopeBase does not read UptimeRobot, so you add the same addresses in both. If you would rather have one monitoring tool feed LopeBase, Better Stack is the one LopeBase can read today.
If you are moving products over from UptimeRobot:
- Add each product as a property in LopeBase and give its uptime check the same address you monitor now. The first check runs as soon as you save it.
- If the product runs the LopeBase Adapter, use its health address instead, and declare the database, queue, and other services you want rows for.
- Turn on email or browser push in alert settings. A site that stops answering alerts on the first failed check.
- Turn on a status page for each product and pick which parts show. Your UptimeRobot history does not carry over, so the longer windows fill in as checks run.
- Keep UptimeRobot for anything LopeBase cannot check: ports, DNS, certificates, private hosts, and heartbeats.

Questions
Something else? Contact us.
Is LopeBase an UptimeRobot alternative?
For knowing whether each of your products is up, with history and a status page, yes. For checks faster than 15 minutes, monitor types beyond web addresses, or phone and SMS alerts, UptimeRobot does more.
Can LopeBase check every minute?
No. Every check runs every 15 minutes, on every plan. If you need faster detection, keep a dedicated monitor for paging.
Can LopeBase import my UptimeRobot monitors?
No. LopeBase does not read UptimeRobot. Add the same addresses as uptime checks, or connect Better Stack if that is where your monitors live.
Does LopeBase watch SSL certificates or cron jobs?
Not today. It checks public web addresses and the services your app lists through the adapter's health address.
Is the LopeBase status page really free?
Yes, on every plan including Free. Paid plans add your own logo, an accent color, and leaving off the LopeBase footer.
