LopeBase vs Profound
Profound is an enterprise platform for AI search. It captures answers from up to nine answer engines the way users see them, every day, and adds real prompt volumes, crawler analytics, shopping data, and agents that write and publish content. LopeBase is an ops console for people who run several products, with AI visibility on its SEO page: up to 10 questions per product, asked of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini weekly, monthly, or on demand. Here is how they compare, from Profound's own pages as of October 2026.

| Reports and sharing | Custom dashboards on every plan, shareable by link or as a PDF. CSV and JSON export on Enterprise. | Read in the app or over MCP, or share a read-only link to the latest check that you can revoke. No CSV or PDF export. |
| API and MCP | A REST API and an MCP server, both on Enterprise. | An MCP server on every plan: read results and the change since the last check, set questions and other names, run a check, set the schedule, share a report. |
| AI crawlers | Agent Analytics reads server logs through Cloudflare, Vercel, AWS, and others. | Checks which AI crawlers robots.txt lets in, and your llms.txt. No visit logs. |
| Content | Agents and workflows that draft and publish to your CMS, with a human approval step. | A missing question becomes an article topic for the content autopilot. |
| Beyond AI search | Not covered. | Search Console and Bing, revenue, uptime, analytics, errors, and discussions, per product. |

A platform, or a tab in your console
Profound is built for a team whose job is AI search. It records answers from the engines' own front ends every day, so the reading includes live web results. It adds data you cannot get by asking your own questions, like how often real people ask a topic in ChatGPT, from consumer panels, and which AI crawlers read which of your pages. Its agents then draft and publish content to fix the gaps. Enterprise buyers get single sign-on, SOC 2 compliance, and a dedicated specialist.
LopeBase is built for a founder or a small studio running several products, where AI search is one thing to keep an eye on among many. It asks ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini through their APIs with no web search, so a reading shows what each model itself knows about you. That changes slowly, and a new page will not move it next week, but the same questions get comparable answers each time, so the trend over a few months is meaningful. The questions where you are missing go straight to the content autopilot, and the same console holds each product's search, revenue, and uptime.
These two rarely compete for the same buyer. If you are choosing between them, the size of your team and budget usually decides it.
How the pricing compares
Profound's pricing page, checked October 2026, publishes few prices. For brands, there is a free trial and a custom Enterprise plan.
| Profound plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | Free | 50 prompts it picks for your industry, run daily for 7 days, on ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews. No exports or API. |
| Enterprise | Custom | A tailored prompt plan, up to 9 engines, all-time history, exports, API, single sign-on, and a dedicated specialist. |
| Agency Growth | $99 a month | 10 pitch workspaces a month for prospects, on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews. Each full client workspace is $399 a month more. |
| Agency Enterprise | Custom | Up to 9 engines and a dedicated agency partner. |
A client workspace on Agency Growth covers 100 prompts daily on three engines. Profound does not publish an Enterprise price, so we cannot say what a brand pays; ask its sales team for a quote at your prompt count.
LopeBase counts properties and AI credits, and the price is public. Free covers one property with 50 credits a month, Studio is $19 for 5 properties and 500 credits, Portfolio $49 for 15 and 2,000, and Agency $149 with no property limit and 8,000. A credit is one cent, and extra credits are $10 per 1,000. A full check of 10 questions on all three engines comes to roughly 90 to 240 credits, shown before it runs, so one product checked weekly fits in Portfolio, and three products checked monthly fit there too. Credits are shared with LopeBase's other AI features.

Is LopeBase a Profound alternative?
For a small team that wants a regular reading of whether ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini name its products, yes. For daily tracking across many engines, prompt volumes, crawler logs, publishing agents, or enterprise security reviews, no. Profound does those and LopeBase does not.
How much does Profound cost?
Its pricing page lists a free trial and custom Enterprise pricing for brands, without a dollar figure. Its agency tab lists Agency Growth at $99 a month, with client workspaces at $399 a month each.
Can I choose my own prompts on Profound's trial?
No. Its pricing page says trial users get a recommended prompt set for their industry and cannot change it. On LopeBase's Free plan you write or edit every question.
Why would the two tools show different results?
Profound captures answers from each engine's front end, with live web results. LopeBase asks each model through its API with no web search. One shows what a user sees today, the other what the model itself knows about you.
