LopeBase vs Otterly.AI
Otterly.AI is one of the cheapest ways to track AI search every day. It types your prompts into ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google's AI Overviews the way a person would, from the country you choose, and reports mentions, sentiment, and the links each answer cites. LopeBase is an ops console for people who run several products, with AI visibility on its SEO page: up to 10 questions per product, asked of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini weekly, monthly, or on demand. Here is how they compare, from Otterly's own pages as of October 2026.

How each one asks
Otterly.AI says it posts your prompts through each AI search engine's website, as a neutral user with no history, from the country you set for the prompt. The answer it records is close to what a new visitor would see that day, live web results included, and the links the answer cites come with it. Claude is the exception: Otterly asks it through its API, on a Haiku model with web search.
LopeBase asks ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini through their APIs with no web search. That records what each model knows about you from its training, not what it finds on the web today. It moves slowly, and a page you published last week will not change it. It is also steadier from one check to the next, which is why LopeBase charts each engine's share over time.
So the two readings answer different questions. Otterly.AI: what does a buyer in Germany see in Perplexity today? LopeBase: over the past few months, have the models themselves started to know and recommend my product?
How the pricing compares
Otterly.AI's pricing page, checked October 2026, counts search prompts, pooled across every brand report. Yearly billing takes 15% off. There is no free plan; a 14-day trial with 50 prompts needs no card.
| Otterly.AI plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29 a month, or $25 a month yearly | 15 prompts, 1 workspace, 3 recommendations a week. No API or Looker Studio. |
| Standard | $189 a month, or $160 a month yearly | 100 prompts, unlimited workspaces, API and MCP, crawler analytics, Looker Studio. |
| Premium | $489 a month, or $422 a month yearly | 400 prompts, with higher API and crawler analytics limits. |
| Enterprise | Custom | From 1,000 prompts, with single sign-on. |
| Engine add-ons | Gemini or AI Mode $9, $59, or $149 a month; Claude $29, $109, or $439 a month | Priced by plan: Lite, Standard, or Premium. |
On Standard and Premium, 100 more prompts cost $99 a month. Standard can add up to 300 before Otterly moves you to Premium.
LopeBase counts properties and AI credits. Free covers one property with 50 credits a month, Studio is $19 for 5 properties and 500 credits, Portfolio $49 for 15 and 2,000, and Agency $149 with no property limit and 8,000. A credit is one cent, and extra credits are $10 per 1,000. A full check of 10 questions on all three engines comes to roughly 90 to 240 credits, shown before it runs. Credits are shared with LopeBase's other AI features.
What a typical setup costs
| Setup | Otterly.AI | LopeBase |
|---|---|---|
| One product, 10 questions, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini | Lite with the Claude and Gemini add-ons: $67 a month, checked daily. | Studio, $19, checked monthly. Portfolio, $49, checked weekly. |
| One product, 10 questions, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and AI Overviews | Lite, $29 a month, checked daily. | Not possible. LopeBase does not ask Perplexity, Copilot, or AI Overviews. |
| Three products, 10 questions each, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini | Standard with both add-ons: $357 a month, checked daily. | Portfolio, $49, checked weekly, plus up to $20 of extra credits in a month where answers run long. |
Otterly.AI figures use monthly prices from its pricing page; LopeBase figures use the estimate the Run button shows. Your own answers may be shorter or longer.
Otterly.AI's Lite plan is good value if its four included engines are the ones you care about and one brand is enough. The price rises with prompts and with each engine you add, and Claude is the dearest add-on. LopeBase is cheaper for a slower reading across several products, and it cannot give you a daily one at all.

Is LopeBase an Otterly.AI alternative?
For a weekly or monthly reading of whether ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini name each of your products, yes. For daily tracking, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews, country targeting, or exports, no. Otterly.AI does those and LopeBase does not.
Does Otterly.AI have a free plan?
No. Its pricing page offers a 14-day trial with 50 prompts and no card, then plans from $29 a month. LopeBase has a Free plan for one property with 50 AI credits a month.
Does Otterly.AI include Claude and Gemini?
As paid add-ons. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot are included on every plan; Gemini, Google AI Mode, and Claude cost extra, priced by plan.
Why would the two tools show different results for the same question?
Otterly.AI asks through each engine's website, with live web results, from a country you choose. LopeBase asks each model through its API with no web search. One shows what a visitor sees today, the other what the model itself knows about you.
Can I run a LopeBase check every day?
Not on a schedule. Checks run weekly, monthly, or when you press the button, and each one costs credits, so daily checks would add up quickly.
