LopeBase vs Notra

Notra is a dedicated AI search tool. It asks a long list of AI models your prompts every day, with live web search where the engine has it, and adds crawler logs, sentiment, personas, and an article writer. LopeBase is an ops console for people who run several products, and AI visibility is one tab in it: up to 10 buyer questions per product, asked of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini weekly, monthly, or when you press the button. Here is how they compare, from Notra's own pages as of October 2026.

The short answer

Pick Notra if

AI search is a channel you work on every day. You want daily scans across many engines with web search, sentiment, personas, crawler logs, and a writer in one tool, and $100 a month or more is fine for one project.

Pick LopeBase if

You run a few products and want a regular, cheap reading of whether ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini name each one, next to its search, revenue, and uptime. Checks are paid per run in credits, so a weekly check of one product fits inside a $49 plan.

How each one asks

The biggest difference is not the number of engines. It is what each answer stands for.

Notra asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity with web search turned on, so an answer can quote a page published last week and lists the pages it cited. That is close to what a person sees in those apps today. Notra also fetches Google AI Overviews from search results, and runs models from xAI, Moonshot, DeepSeek, Meta, and Z.ai without web search. Its own pages are not fully consistent on which of those search the web, so check the engines docs for the one you care about.

LopeBase asks each model through its API without web search. A LopeBase reading is what the model itself knows about you, from what it learned in training. It moves slowly, and a new page will not show up in it next week. That is a narrower measure, and we say so in the app. It is also steadier: the same question gets a comparable answer from one check to the next, so a rise over a few months means the models have learned more about you.

Neither is a perfect copy of one person's chat. The apps also remember a person's earlier conversations, and no tracking tool sees that.

How the pricing compares

Notra's pricing page, checked October 2026, counts AI answers: one prompt answered by one model in one scan. Prompts are unlimited, every plan can use every model, and more models or more frequent scans use more answers. A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price.

Notra planPriceWhat it includes
Free$0AI crawler and assistant traffic, 1 million events a month, and agent feedback. No answer tracking.
Starter$100 a month, $1,000 a year2,000 answers a month, 1 project, 10 long-form posts.
Growth$250 a month, $2,500 a year6,000 answers a month, 3 projects, 25 long-form posts.
Scale$550 a month, $5,500 a year12,000 answers a month, 10 projects, 50 long-form posts.
EnterpriseCustomUnlimited answers and projects, zero data retention included.

Extra languages, conversations, and personas use more answers, and scans keep running on prepaid credits once a month's answers run out. Zero data retention costs 20% more below Enterprise.

LopeBase counts properties and AI credits. Free covers one property with 50 credits a month, Studio is $19 for 5 properties and 500 credits, Portfolio $49 for 15 and 2,000, and Agency $149 with no property limit and 8,000. A credit is one cent, and extra credits are $10 per 1,000. A full check of 10 questions on all three engines comes to roughly 90 to 240 credits, and the button shows the range before it runs. Credits are shared with LopeBase's other AI features, like article drafts.

Notra figures use its pricing page; LopeBase figures use the estimate the Run button shows. Your own answers may be shorter or longer.

The pattern is plain. If you want daily readings across many engines, Notra is built and priced for it, and LopeBase cannot do it at all. If a weekly or monthly reading is enough, LopeBase costs much less, and more so as the number of products grows, because Notra counts projects and LopeBase counts properties up to 15 on its $49 plan.

Is LopeBase a Notra alternative?

For a weekly or monthly reading of whether ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini name your product, yes, at a lower price. For daily scans, web search answers, Perplexity or AI Overviews, sentiment, personas, or crawler logs, no. Notra does those and LopeBase does not.

Does Notra have a free plan for AI visibility?

Its Free plan covers AI crawler and assistant traffic and agent feedback. Tracking AI answers starts on Starter, $100 a month, according to its pricing page in October 2026.

Why does LopeBase not use web search?

It asks each model through its API, which gives a steady reading of what the model knows about you. Answers with web search change with whatever pages the search finds that day. The ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini apps can search, so what a person sees there may differ from a LopeBase check.

Can I use both?

Yes. They ask the engines separately and nothing is connected between them. A common split is Notra for daily tracking and crawler logs on your main product, and LopeBase for a weekly reading across the rest of your products.

What does a LopeBase check cost?

Roughly 90 to 240 credits for 10 questions on three engines, where a credit is one cent. Fewer questions or engines cost less. The AI visibility guide explains how it is worked out.
