# Add and manage properties

> A property is one product or site you run. Add one with its name and address, see it at a glance, and understand what happens when a plan runs out of room.

A property is one product or site you run. Every connection, every number, and every alert in LopeBase belongs to a property. Properties live on their own page, where you can see every one you watch at a glance.

Open Properties

## Add a property

1. **Open Add property:** On Properties, press **Add property**. The first property you add shows this same form the moment you sign up.
2. **Name it, and give it an address:** The name is whatever you call the product. The address is optional, but worth adding: LopeBase uses it to fetch the property's icon and to match the connections you add later (Search Console, analytics, and so on) to the right property automatically.
3. **Add and connect:** Press **Add and connect** and you land straight on that property's page, ready to connect its first tool.

> **Tip:** The same dialog has a terminal command you can copy and run in the product's own repo instead: it scans the project and hands setup to your coding agent. See [Set up from your terminal](https://lopebase.com/docs/npx-lopebase).

## Its icon and address

With an address, LopeBase shows the site's own favicon next to the property's name everywhere it appears. A property with no address, or whose site has no usable favicon, gets a plain icon instead; you can pick a different one from the property's own page if you want.

The address also does quiet work behind the scenes: when you connect Search Console, Google Analytics, or another source, LopeBase prefers the property whose address matches, so you are rarely asked to pick the right one by hand.

## See every property at a glance

Each card on Properties shows:

- Its icon, name, and address.
- Whether its site is up right now, and how fast it answered, once an uptime check is running.
- Its Domain Rating, once SEO has read it.
- The tools connected to it, as logos, with anything past the first few rolled into a "+N more" you can hover.

A property with nothing connected yet says so plainly, so it is obvious which ones still need attention.

## When a plan runs out of room

Every plan caps how many properties it covers at once: Free covers 1, Studio 3, Portfolio 10, and Agency has no limit. If your trial ends or you move to a smaller plan, LopeBase does not delete anything. The properties connected first, up to the new plan's limit, keep updating as usual. Any beyond that pause: their settings and history stay exactly as they were, but their numbers stop refreshing until the workspace moves to a plan with enough room, at which point every paused property turns back on at once.

## Delete a property

When you stop running a product, delete it so it stops counting toward your plan and its numbers leave Overview. Only a workspace admin can delete a property, and only one the workspace added itself.

1. **Open the property:** Go to **Properties** and open the one you want to delete. You can also start from **Settings** > **Your data**, which lists every property you can delete. [Open Your data](https://app.lopebase.com/settings?tab=data)
2. **Type its name to confirm:** At the bottom of the property's page, under **Delete this property**, type the property's name and press **Delete property**.

This removes the property for good, along with its connections and their saved keys, its uptime history, its status page, and its SEO, content, and discussion data. Nothing changes in the tools it was connected to, like Stripe or Search Console. The audit log keeps a record of who deleted it and when.

> **Watch out:** Deleting a property cannot be undone. If you only want it to stop updating for a while, leave it in place: on a smaller plan the extra properties pause instead.

## Where to go next

- [Connect your tools](https://lopebase.com/docs/connections) for what to connect once a property exists.
- [Read Overview](https://lopebase.com/docs/overview) to see every property's numbers together.
- [Set up from your terminal](https://lopebase.com/docs/npx-lopebase) to add a property from its own repo instead.

## If something goes wrong

### I don't see an Add property button

Only a workspace admin can add or manage properties. Ask whoever set up your workspace to add you as an admin, or to add the property for you.

### A property's numbers stopped updating

Check Billing: if your workspace is over its plan's limit, the properties connected most recently are the ones paused first. Choosing a plan with enough room turns them all back on right away.

### The wrong icon is showing

LopeBase fetches the icon from the property's address. If the address is missing, wrong, or the site has no usable favicon, open the property and pick a different icon from its header.

### A connection I added isn't matched to the right property

This usually means the property's address does not match that tool's site exactly, or the property has no address yet. Add or fix the address on the property, then connect the tool again.
