# Invite your team

> Add teammates to your workspace, pick their role, set a different role on one connection, and see how many seats your plan allows.

Everyone who signs in to your workspace is an operator. Add teammates, choose what each one can do, and narrow that down to a single connection when you need to.

## Add a teammate

1. **Open Operators:** **Manage** > **Operators** [Open Operators](https://app.lopebase.com/operators)
2. **Enter their email and a role:** Pick Admin, Support, or Viewer (see below), then press Send invite. If email is not set up on your workspace, you get a link to send them by hand instead.
3. **They sign in:** With Google, GitHub, or an email link, using the address you invited. They show as invite pending until their first sign-in.

## What each role can do

| Role | Can do |
| --- | --- |
| Admin | Everything: connect and remove sources, manage billing, invite and remove operators, change roles. |
| Support | Work with connections and run day-to-day tasks, but cannot manage billing or other operators. |
| Viewer | See dashboards, analytics, uptime, and content. Cannot change anything. |

Operators lists every permission against the three roles, so you can check exactly what a role grants before you assign it.

## A different role on one connection

Sometimes you want someone to manage one property's Stripe connection without touching anything else. On a teammate's row, press Access to set a per-connector role: Admin, Support, Viewer, or None, which removes that connection entirely for them. Leaving it on Default uses their normal workspace role.

> **Watch out:** Changing someone's access, their role or a per-connector override, ends their current sessions. They sign back in under the new access right away.

## How many operators you can add

Each plan caps how many operators a workspace can have. Operators shows your count against the limit, and an admin sees a note on the page once you reach it: remove someone, or move to a plan with more room, from Billing.

## Where to go next

- [Read the audit log](https://lopebase.com/docs/audit-log) to see what each operator changed.
- [Plans, trial, and billing](https://lopebase.com/docs/billing) for operator limits by plan.

## If something goes wrong

### My teammate never got the invite email

Check they used the exact address you invited. If your workspace has no email set up, Operators gives you a link to send them yourself instead of emailing it.

### Someone still shows as invite pending after they signed in

They most likely signed in with a different address or sign-in method than the one you invited. Remove the pending invite and send a fresh one to the address they actually use.

### I can't add another teammate

Your workspace is at its plan's operator limit. Remove someone no longer active, or choose a larger plan on Billing.

### I changed someone's role and now they are signed out

That is expected. A role or access change ends that person's current sessions so the new access takes effect right away; they just need to sign in again.
